THIS IS THE OFFICIAL SITE OF WAKEFIELD CITY CRICKET CLUB

Formerly West Yorkshire County Officers and West Riding County Officers.

Formed circa 1900 and lapsed circa mid 1920's when Wakefield Prison built on ground.
Re-established in 1949 as West Riding County Officers at Walton Lane.
Became West Yorkshire County Officers in 1986.
Changed name to Wakefield City in 1995.
Lapsed 2008.
